Hannibal Rising: What Do You Think of Young Hannibal Lecter?

Who's seen the above movie? At first I was a bit skeptical about the actor who played as young Hannibal since I think Anthony Hopkins has been such a PERFECT actor to play old Hannibal. I think everybody'll ALWAYS remember him as Hannibal.
However, after seeing the movie, turned out that I was impressed with Gaspard Ulliel. He did a pretty good job in convincing me that he was Hannibal Lecter.
What do you think???

i watched it purely because i'd seen the rest, wasn't expecting much from to be honest but was very impressed! Truely dark and disturbing and some what sexy in places...thought it was very well done and i agree with you on Gaspard Ulliel, though i do hope they leave the Lecture story there now, it's been done just right even though it was back to front lol

I just watched it the other day and I loved it! I thought it was great and Ulliel DID do a fabulous job!!

Since I love horror movies I plan to see this movie. I've seen all of the Hannibal movies and can't wait to see this one. I didn't realize Anthony Hopkis wasn't in it though. He did do an awesome job on all of those movies.

I'd seen this movie a week ago. His performance was good but i didn't enjoy much of the story. I wanted more twist just like the other Hannibal Lecter movies.

Ohhhhh...well, I think the story is appropriate enough for old-Hannibal-in-the-making. THANKS for sharing your thoughts, though. ;-D I appreciate it! ;-D
