my 5 year old might have to have surgrey

So I am not the type of person to usally ask for prayers, but this time I need them My 5 year old son and I have a condition called neurofibromatosis,( where you get small begin growth just on or under the skin) sometimes 2-5% of the time they could be cancerous but the chances are slim to none. he has a beign tumor on his optic nerve and his optic chiasm and at his doctors appoinment today I was told the one in the chiasm is starting to grow a little, please pray that it stops growing so he does not have to go
throu surgrey or chemo. he goes for a repeat mri come December. I am so worried right now maybe a little over worried, doctor said the growth is mm, right now I am in a complete daze, and my husband is gone for the mext 5 weeks training, please keep us in your thoughts

thanks Feona, they are waiting cause he just had an MRI Sept 11th, and since the growth was only like 1 or 2 mm he wants to repeat it again in 3 months

Of course I will keep him in my prayers and Im sure he will be just fine. Try to stay positive. I know its hard but try. Being positive about any kind of health condition plays a big part in recovery and the out come of it. Im here for you if you need to talk. And please keep us updated.Hugs to you

Oh man. Now it's your turn for the prayer angels. I send out all my prayers thoughts and love to the little one. Hope things go for the best of all of you. This is harder than dealing with an older relative I think. So young to have to go through this. May God's angels keep your son and all family and friends under their wings during this time of need. I will pray for your little boy!!! No problem!!! No need to worry...Let me know his name and I'll let everyone I know to keep him in their prayers. I'm sure you know your husbands spirit, love and prayers are with you both as well. It breaks my heart to hear of your childs illness. God does watch after the little ones... HIS little ones.
