More important - Time or Money?

I got myself into a bind this week. I have a ton of stuff to do at home, but I signed up for a 10 hour overtime shift. Now I wish I hadn't. Sure, the overtime money is needed, but I wish I had the time off to get things done. Sometimes I find that time is more valuable to me than money. How do you balance these two needs?

I would say time is more important yes Money is but when you end up leaving yourself short on time it is not worth it

That's what happened this week. I feel like I've wasted all week working. But I did get a lot of things done, so now I'll just work and relax until I'm off again next Thursday. Then back to work around the house!!!

time is very important, we can get the time back, like me i never use the time correctly until i got old i want to get a job but i'm overage company wont hire an old person now. so make your time correctly, until your young and energetic go on work hard.

Sometimes it seems like I'm using my time wisely to do overtime and make more money, but then I look at all the work I have to do and think I should be home doing what needs to be done.

Although I would love to have the extra money that overtime would bring, I am at a point in my life when I savor the free time that I have. Spending less, and buying cost effective products is helpful.

Free time? What's that? I think I heard of that somewhere before... lol I need time to paint and move furniture and pack things up and get ready for my new grandbaby! After he comes, I'm quite sure I won't have any time at all!

Time is definitely more important than money. You can always earn money, but once you spend time, you can never get it back. Somehow, I learned that valuable lesson along the way. I do my best to not waste time and have been know to get pretty upset when others try to waste it. Time is so precious that sometimes it is all you have. When you are a child of God, time becomes even more precious. He wants us to have patience and wait in faith and that takes time. But, it is not wasted, he is preparing you for the miracle he has promised you.

That is so true, and something I had not really stopped to think out. I can always make money, but time is a non-renewable resource!

The money is important. The overtime opportunity rarely crosses our paths. You will have all the time in the world to clear those stuff at home. Don't worry they will be waiting for you and greet you when you arrived back from that overtime, but when you showed up you are much more richer

True - all the things waiting for me will still be waiting when I get home - but I'm going to be so far behind! Although my family is already making plans for my 'extra' money!

if you lost money, you'll always recover it. but if you lost time, you know it'll never come back. money is valued according to its market value. but time is priceless.

I'm learning how valuable time is, and how quickly we squander it.
