My Share of the Texas Summer ---- Is it still hot in your place?

I just arrived in Texas this May. It was still spring by then so the weather was just perfect for me. Summer comes and oh lala, I find the hotness so extreme for me. Well, I came from the Philippines, a tropical country, but since our air there is dry that's why it never turned out as hot as here.
Summer will officially end on Sunday. I am crossing my fingers here and hoping that the temperature will subside some more. Last week, I was happy coz we were on the 80'sF. Unfortunately, this week we are back to 90'sF again and even the forecast says that we will still be on the 90'sF next week.
Oh, I was told before that Texas is hot on summer but I never thought it will be this hotta.
How's the weather in your place right now? Do you still have the share of our hotness here?

I was born and raised in East Texas I moved to Louisiana in 1988 & honey it is really hot here I would love to go home where the air is dry and not so humided ya can't not live here with out AC like ya could where I 'm from

It was hot here in Los Angeles County, California, but it is cooled down now.

He he he he...Unfortunately autumn's started here in Sodankylä, Finland. It's been only around 8-10'C during the day here for the past two weeks.
Summer in this village only lasted for a whole month (real summer, that is). Even so, it never got any hotter than 26'C.
90'F = around 46'C. YIKES!!! That must be SO HOT! I used to live in Indonesia and even there the hottest temp. was around 34'C. Tsk tsk tsk...ENJOY the rest of your summer then!!!

8-10'C? Darn, that's very cold!
In the past few days, even if our temperature is only in the 90'sF but, a lot of times, it feels like we are already in the 100'sF because of the high humidity content of the air (yes, our temperature did registered at 100'sF in a couple of days). 1PM-5PM are the hottest time.
Your summer there is so short. So, I guess it is one of the most-awaited and cherished times of the year. Well, if I am there I will feel the same way too!
