now that the nba season is about to start, what are you thoughts on the deals and who are the main contenders for the championships next year? we had one blockbuster trade, but other than that, only a few tweaks to most teams.

Definitely an exciting season to look forward to. About the blockbuster trade, it will definitely affect Boston Celtic's performance and so as the people of Boston and the fans of the team. I mean, can you imagine captain paul "the truth" pierce along with center KG! Kevin Garnett! The guy's stats in the video game, NBA Live 2007 is even 99! Along with a very good shooter Ray Allen. I am definitely looking forward to teams like the Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns.. and also Miami Heat. I still believe in Dwyane Wade and Shaq's tandem. I mean, they did won the 2006 Nba championship, I still believe that will still have a good chance of getting into the finals. As for LeBron's Cavs, they really do lack a player playing forward and also Center. Z Ilgauskas is way too slow!!! Drew Gooden? Needs a lot more inprovement. This is one of the seasons that I really am excited and look forward to watching. :) I hope it will be a very good one. Better than what I expect it to be.

well, i think allen, pierce, and garnett almost pretty much guarantee a top 4 seed in the east. In the west though, I'm not too sure the spurs can repeat their championship. Their players are getting older, and they're not making any huge changes. The suns seem to be good, but always just out of reach of a championship. How do you thing utah will do, after such a spectacular season last year? Can they go all the way back to wcf with deron williams, or has fisher's signing with the lakers taken too much from the team? This season will surely be very interesting.

I do hope Boston will advance not just in the playoffs but all the way to the championship. I'm so excited to see if there's really a chemistry in the team. I mean, those big-time players, KG, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen are superstars and all of them are captains of their team. and now, they are merged into 1 team. Also about Utah, I think they were just lucky to advance in the Western Conference Finals because they faced a xo-xo team which was the G.S. Warriors.. If there opponents in the WCF were Dallas Mavs and if the Mavs showed how good they during the season , straight up to the playoffs.. I think it will definitely be a different outcome. So Utah is not a top contender in my opinion. And even if Derek Fisher signed back to L.A., yeah it helps Kobe especially in distributing the ball and passing but L.A Lakers still need a good center and forward players in order for them to even advance to the second round. I am really excited for tip-off. May your team win. And I hope mine would too. :)

it might, but i think going to the playoffs last year made the core stronger. If we can get fair market value for ak i think we will go along ways.

this season is definitely an exiting season. with all the trades and other transactions this will be a great season. they also say that this season the talents on East and West are now balance with Allen, Randolph and Garnett going into the east. i think the main contenders this coming season are still the suns, spurs and mavericks at the west and pistons and cleveland, others to consider are the bulls, heat and nets. i don't think that the celtics instantly becomes a contender even if they have garnett, pierce and allen they have a lot of weaknesses like at the point guard position, bench help and most of all chemistry.

the celtics are sure winners... the magic are going to be great... the losers are still the blazers, the kings and the warriors, and the clippers.. the warrios losing richardson is bad, the clippers still not without livingston and then losing brand for several months is going to be bad.. the blazers, well.. they lost randolph but they gained an unproven oden, who went down with season ending surgery.. tough luck!!! the knicks though they got randolph, they just added a low post guy who is going to make it tough with curry also inside. what they need is a shooter to free their big man inside.

I don't think celtics will definitely win, although they are almost guaranteed to get as far as ecf. San Antonio, Phoenix and Dallas remain strong, while the Chicago still have a young but talented team which might get pretty far. Miami might still win another championship with wade and shaq playing together if both can stay healthy at the end of the season.
