I abandoned a baby cat I picked up on my way to my dormitory. It's a little cat that it's less than one month since it was born.I believe that I can keep it up,so I brought it to my dormitory. However,it ate nothing such as milk, meat, etc. What was worse, one of my roommates don't like cats very much.I had no way but abandoning it in the forest in our campus. It's a cold night ... I am still afraid that there maybe some curses to me for abandoning a lovely little cat.

I totally agree with Rosie on this one. QQFool, if you were not able to care for the poor kitten, you should have returned her to the place where you found her. The mommy might still be around or in fact was looking for her baby. A baby like that would not survive the forest for sure. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but I feel more sorry for the kitten than you at this moment.

Well if you want kind words from me - I'm sorry, you won't get them. Cats are living creatures. This was a baby - you left it to die in cold and pain and fear. Why the hell did you pick it up and take it away from where it's Mother was probably nearby? How cruel and thoughtless. And if you couldn't keep it, you should have tried to find a responsible adult to take it - if not a charity, then a teacher, family memmber, neighbour or older relative. If all else fails you should have taken it back to where you found it where the Mother might have been nearby to feed it poor little, baby thing who had never done any harm. I come from a culutre where all life is sacred, and I believe in karma, and I hope you feel guilty enough to cry many tears like I did when read your post, and will never do such a wicked and uncaring thing again. And if people think my words are cruel - they are nowherr near as cruel as I could have said, nor as what you did.

No QQFool, I don't believe you will be cursed. Though maybe you could have tried to find a better place for it than in the woods. Is there a local animal shelter or someone that is known to like cats or someone who could have taken it until a home was found? I also wouldn't worry about it, what done is done..But in the future, as hard as it may be, if you can't care for the cat, then just leave it. (I know it is hard, I have turned down many cats/dogs I really wanted to keep)

It would be much better if you found it a home instead of leaving it in the woods for some other wild animal could kill it. Is there any way you could get it and take it to someone who would care for it? The poor thing can't survive on it's own in the wild just yet especially if it's cold and it has no food.

I agree with Sacrificialclam. How could you do that to the poor thing? It's so helpless and defenseless and yet you threw it away like a piece of garbage. You should never ever have any more pets of any kind. Animals have feelings just as you and I do and should be treating accordingly. Shame shame on you.

Well I don't know about you being cursed for doing so, however there are definitely better options than just setting it out in the woods. Cats that young will not eat meat or milk. They are too young to do that and need to nurse off of their mothers. If it is away from its mother it would need to be fed with a bottle until it is old enough to eat solid food on its own. A better option would have been to keep it safe and warm in a box in the dorm and then take it to an animal shelter where it can be properly cared for.

this is probably not what you want to hear, sorry but yeah I think you are cursed for this or worse. Karma what goes around comes around. So chances are someone that you care and depends on you weather a lover a child or friend is going to abandone you. Every action has an equal reaction. but this is from a pagan point of view and pagans tend to be a animal activist although no where near as bad as peta.

sadly pet cats do not do well in the wild, why? cause they have been bred in captivity for centuries. alot of the skills at living in the wild has been weeded out due to this. a kitten is helpless in the wild. even an adult would not do great in the wild due to being domisticated for centuries and many have lost their predatory skills ect it has been weeded out of them after centuries of domisticated breeding. im crying right now after reading the original post .
