Did anyone buy a new computer recently? If yes, what is the latest development in technology in the hardware configuration and is it at a reasonable price? What is your hardware configuration and which of the brand parts are cheaper and of good quality?

Hi Ragavendran, I always check several shops on the Net so that I can see the newest hardware and the prices and go from there. I purchased a new computer 2 months ago, and installed Vista Ultimate on it too and it works brilliantly in comparisson to my older system. The new one is custom build and it wasn'tcheap. I spent around 2.800 Euro all together for it. here are the specifics of the Intel core 2 Quad 4GB 2 x SLI GIGABYTE GV-NX88X768H-RH GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI-E Graphics Card Core clock - 575 Mhz Stream Processors – 128 Memory Clock – 1800 Mhz Memory Interface – 384-bit Memory Type – GDDR3 DirectX 10 / OpenGL 2.0 RAMDAC – 400 Mhz Maximum Resolution – 2560 x 1600 Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 Support.
