How old were you when you fell in love? Puppy love does not count! How many would you say you have loved? Do you believe in soulmates? Do you think that you could love a person for the rest of your life, even if the relationship did not work out?

"How old were you when you fell in love? Puppy love does not count!" - whatdya mean puppy love doesnt count?! I LOVE MY PUPPIES!!!! LOL..lets seen the first time i REALLY fell in love I was 18..then again at 27/28 :-D "How many would you say you have loved?" - I've loved many deeply but only been deeply, passionately IN love twice in my life "Do you believe in soulmates?" - Yep absolutely...on both an intimate level and other soulmates that are NOT intimate ppl in our lives and i was fortunate enough to have met mine when I was 27 and he's still in my life :-D "Do you think that you could love a person for the rest of your life, even if the relationship did not work out" - definately and I do....when I love someone its not a fly by night thing whether its a friend or a lover etc...When I let someone truly into my heart they are there forever...Even if that person hurts me I'll still always love them...

I wish that Mylot would allow you to post something and be able to answer just like anyone else... but anywho... I would say I first fell in love at 15/16... We were even engaged. We were together for awhile then lost touch for 13 years. We ran into each other again and pretty much picked up where we left off... That lasted for about 2 months before reality kicked in - we had both changed A LOT. But we will always care for each other - I would say the next time I really fell in love was 2003... and we are not togther and I will always love him. He knows it. We both truly believe that neither of us knows where things may lead - although we are both in serious committed relationships. I love my bf now, but I'm not in love with him. I think there's a real difference between loving & in love.

"I think there's a real difference between loving & in love. " Oh absolutely! I love J very deeply but am not IN love with him..he knows it..he also knows my soul is with R whom I'm passionately IN love with , he's always known...Theres definately a HUGE difference between the loving and being IN love...BUT that doesnt mean that not being IN love with your partner makes it less than of a relationship if that makes sense....

i'm 23 and i haven't fallen in love so far. i'm an indian. here arranged marriages are still common. so most people here go in for an arranged marriage. so, many people dont have a lover. i would say, we can love a person for a life time if the person is worth it. take for example the movie titanic. that depicts true love in many scenes. if i ever find a guy like him, then i will sacrifice everything for him. but, til then i wouldnt marry a guy. if i didnt find one, i would remain a virgin and die.
