Sometimes, there are some stuff in the "ukay-ukay" which are really worth picking. It's just that it's not very often. I like the thrill of finding a really good stuff. Like one time, I was able to dig up a Mossimo cardigan and I got it for only P80.00 Its really worth it, there's no damage and it still looks like new. My colleague and I also go to "ukay-ukay" to buy bags which we could sell to our friends. We bought two good bags for 500, and sold both for a sum of P1,000.00! I think buying and selling "ukay-ukay" is a good business to start with! Anyway, the key to success in "ukay-ukay" is to be really patient, open-minded, and wear those cotton shirt because its very hot in those shops! Lol!

Hi! I do go to second-hand shops or the "ukay-ukay" as we do call it here in the Philippines. It is very hard to find good quality items though. You really have to be patient in scouring the racks of clothes, shoes and bags to get good buys. I suggest you go to one as soon as they have "new" deliveries so that you're the first to get your hands on the items that are still in good condition.
