Do you like rainy days?

Yes I love rainy season. Specially the first rain which comes after such a hot season here in India. It seems the whole earth is taking shower, it looks like dry soil is quencing its thirst. The trees and leaves become so green, the flowers look more colourful, the vast grain feilds start swinging with the cool breeze, the sky looks more blue after the rain........the streets are full of little kids running to play in the rain, the lovers become more romantic as they feel drops of rain are touching thier hearts and arousing their feelings.....in india we even see colourful peacocks spreading their colourful wings and dancing in the rain., sometimes there is also a beautiful rainbow across the sky......and I love to stand at my window with hot cup of tea which gives special taste when it is raining .......actually I can go on and on writing like this, but better stop as I think this much is enough to make you understand how much I love rainy days.........:))

oh wow so sorry! I hope ur all ok tho.. THINGS are easire to replace then loved ones. i DO love rainy days! we tend to have a bit of flooding here as well but nothing too hazardous ( yet) it will close off a street here & there but nothing to drastic - the last flood here was in '72 but they didnt have as high walls then as they do now :) I love when it rains it gives me a chance to either clean or just chill out not wanting to go in it for anything!! then there are Thunder/Lightning storms which I LOVE!! we will actually go out in the yard and watch it!! or from our front porch! we love them - especially the wicked lightning! cant help it we just do! :) XX I do hope things get better for u there and ur able to see the sun again and fix things back to *normal* :) XX

I don not like rainy days unless we are getting a gfood thunderstorm I love them.

I really hate rainy days, the best weather for me is sunny and clear sky, these are my favorite days of the year. Rain is always making me feel derpessive, especially the one which always falls down in autumn.

i like rainy days , but not heavy rains as those you said

sorry to hear that.. back in my hometown,, rain is a necessity...farming is our source of living there.. when its raining, we're happy, it means.. less expenses, no need to use the water pump...

Dear Navtech, Where have you been all these days. Were you getting drenched in the rain because you like the rain? No I do not like the rainy days. I like the winter. but then rains are essential for our farmers to grow produce. A medium rain will be alright, but not the floods.

I like them until they become too much like what your are experiencing. HOpe it stops soon so you can return to a normal life!

We get flood very rarely and the water recedes very fast, so I am sorry for your plight. We have light drizzle every day which has brought down the temperature and it is very pleasant today.

I too am not particularly fond of rainy days,only that you can have a good long cozy sleep.Otherwise,I dislike the damp feeling,the gloominess of the day,...wetness all around.Rainy days just hamper normal life,specially moving around.I am just not comfortable at all.

I enjoy staying in the dormitory to surf the internet when raining ouside.The feeling is so good. As you describe,it is not rainy day but flooding day,in my country, some districts will happen flood every year.And the most serious flood disaster is in 1998,and my country emploied one million soldiers to succor. so i know how terrible it is .
