Halloween. Should it be censored?

A local radio station in New Jersey is talking about a mother and son walking into a Halloween novalty store. They demanded a halloween decoration of a monster being hung, to be removed from the display window do to graphic material. This woman being a teacher felt it was innapropriate and unsuitable for display. What do you think about her actions. Should she just let halloween be halloween, or should the display be removed. By the way. The son is 24 years old, and she is a fifth grade teacher.

I think they're overreacting a tad. It's bad enough some stores are being targeted because employees wish customers a "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays." If displays of people hanging are inappropriate, then wouldn't people be demanding that churches remove images and statues of Jesus hanging on the cross at Easter?
