Dear friends how do you maintain your day to day health? I mean what simple precautions and remedies do you adopt on your own to stay healthy and fit and fine. For example, some of us do regular exercises, go to gym, go for swimming, walking or cycyling etc. Some of us take some vitamine or health related pills to stay healthy. Some of us adopt home made remedies. Some of us avoid certain kind of foods eg fatty or oily food, carbohydrates or starch etc or some of us specially take certain kind of food say green and leafy vegetables to stay fit. What do you do to stay healthy in your day to day life? Please share your thoughts with me! Thanks in advance.

I do try to maintain good health and for this i have made a schedule which i implement neatly. I do some arobics to keep my weight under control. I have to confess that i need to shed a few kgs to get the best of the looks. I keep fast on monday although the purpose is to pay my tributes to god but this also has its own role to play in my heath as on this day i eat only fruits. On normal days too i have a good quantity of fruits as they are low on fat and high on various minerals and vitamins the body needs. I have not tried any suppliments for health.

So you know very well how to maintain good health and I agree with you that fasting does help in checking up the digestion system. Taking fruits, instead of junk food is better. Thanks for responding! Have a great day!

It is a very big topic:) Actually I think everybody knows how to maintain a good health. However, it is not easy for everybody to do so. As to me, I try to drink more water and get rid of soda water.

Hi deepak, I had been a very happy-go-lucky kind who knows everything but would do little to take care of herself. But of late, I have learnt to become responsible and I feel by taking care of myself I take care of my family as well. No one likes being sick and a better reward we can give to each other by staying fit and fine. I am pretty much alert about the food i take - that'sbeing the only thing I do consciously, actively and religiously. I can hardly work out and even though I try hard i end up not walking and exercising. I need real motivation to excercise. I need to work on this. Another thing, I insist on doing is to SMILE and LAUGH whenever and wherever possible. Trust me, it works wonders!! To keep up a lively and cheerful spirit is the key to good health and happiness. Laughing is a stress buster and smiling does make you feel better and look good. That's all in my health regime. Thanks for a responsible post. Smiles.... DO OR DO NOT THERE IS NO TRY: YODA

i have started doing some exercizing recently to keep myself fit! now a days i am at home mostly so i needed something like this.:) other than that i don't care about the way i eat;) i mean i am usually ready to eat anything without thinking;)

I avoid certain food items to keep away from health problems.since i have wheezing problem in winter season i avoid oily foods, ice creams and some fruits that causes cold..I also take a protein supplement daily along with milk to keep myself active for the day..

maintain health? there are 2 ways for me. 1, i often pay more attention to diet. i dont' eat too hot or too cold food. and i often eat some vegetables and fruits everyday. and now i dont' eat anything before i go to bed. besides, i drink about 8 bottles of water everyday. 2, i do exercises everyday at night. i want to do some morning exercises, but i can't insist it everyday, then i choose do some exercises at night. i often walk with my boyfriend after dinner, then i dance with music for 2 hours. it is not drastic, but it is a whole body movement.

Eat well, sleep well, exercise atleast 1 hour a day. Keep worries out of mind. it will do a lot good to maintain health.

I do push ups and crunches daily.Walk 3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes.I never gorge.I take a multivitamin daily.That is all that I can think of.

I have only just started getting back into physical exercise over the last two months and feeling great. Have dropped a dress size already so am happy about that. Trying to cut out on fatty foods and all the junk foods I use to eat, which is hard at times but im surviving. I also take vitamins everyday as well.

often i try to maintain a healthy eating habit and thus diet. so i watch what i eat and how much i eat so i don't overeat. also i always do try to keep it a priority to excersice everyday, whether its a morning jog or a competitive game of sports with friends. this way i keep my muscles healthy as well as keeping myself in shape.

Unbelievable but true: No pills, no vitamins, no gym, no diet, nothing! The best thing to do to maintain your health is to be normal in everything. Walk normally, eat normally and not avoiding anything. Do not overdo anything for ex. If you want chocolate, go ahead and eat it. But don't eat 5 chocolates or eat every day. If you feel like going for a walk or do some swimming ok fine. But don't go in a gym just to exercise and have in your mind that you MUST burn those calories..Personally I don't believe in precautions for a healthy way of leaving.

For me the most important thing is to keep myself always in a happy mood. Drink at least two glasses of water once I wake up in the morning and then have some stomach massaging. I take fresh fruits and more leafy vegetables daily. I go for jogging or do physical exercise at least 30 minutes per day. Have enough sleep and rest. I always try to listening favorite music or songs, chatting with friends, watching comedy movies to amuse myself.

Me, i drink vitamins. I eat on time. I try to sleep 8 hours a day, i try to drink 10 to 12 glasses a day.If i have time i play badminton, its my way to exercise.To lose energy stored.

Hello,friend, As for me,drinking milk every night two hours before you get to sleep,and you can also drink some bee when you get up without eating anything.when you drink milk every night you can have a VB pills and VC pills ,in this way can keep the bacteria away from you. this is the teacher of mine told me just a few days ago. and I have already try,it really works!;-)

I thought there are three important things to stay healthy:1.happy mood 2.balanced diet 3.regular exercises.Personally,I feel 2 and 3 are easier for me since I seldom eat fastfood and perfer fresh vegetables and fruits,I do jogging and play badminton quite often.As for rule 1,I am still trying to negelect annoying things in daily life and keeping a peaceful mood.
