What should I give her?

I am not sure what to get my woman. I was thinking of getting her flowers since I do not have that much but ever since I got flowers for the wrong occassions, I am a bit confused on what kinds to get. It seems like this is the biggest option I have without overdoing it. Rosses seems nice and that is the only thing I think I could get right. Do you have a combo for roses or suggestions what flowers to get? What would you like to get? 8-)

ok, first let me tell you a secret. Women and men see gifts differently. Men see the cost of a present, women see the frequency. We would rather get a simple bouquet costing very few dollars and get them more than just once in a great while. Get her a nice bouquet of flowers that don't cost a whole lot of money and then get her some more every couple of weeks. I had a man once who brought me a $4 bouquet from the grocery store, but he brought them every single week while we were together. When I think of gifts of flowers, all the bouquets of roses are forgotten while his are remembered. Perhaps get a nice bouquet of flowers with just one red rose (which signifies pure love) instead of a whole bouquet of roses. Do something nice for her that doesn't cost a lot. Most women are a lot more impressed about the fact that you thought to get them something than by what it costs.

Thanks, now I remembered that one time that I got her just one red rose for the first time. I would never forget how she liked it a lot and how happy she was. Well one thing I can see where men and women aren't different, both can seem to care. I am happy that she cares too. 8-)

oh, yes, both can care and men, bless their hearts, do their very best to show it. We just think differently. This is one reaason we have trouble. For instance, a woman may cook and clean house each and every day. Because she does it so often, she sees it as a sign of her love for her man. Men don't see things like that. If my man takes one household chore and does it every time it needs doing without me asking it means he loves me. That's how I view it. Here's a hint for you too. Listen to women around you talking about their men. When you hear one woman tell another, "you've got a good man there", you'll probabaly be surprised at what little things gained him that praise. I had a man who never let me put gas in my car. He'd take my keys every time we were together and check the gas gauge, if it needed gas, he'd take my gas card and go fill it up for me. Sometimes he'd buy it but not always, we were not even living together. my girlfriends were all keenly jealous of this very little thing he'd do for me, and I bragged about him often.

It really takes time and care to get to know those little things. It would have taken me at least 2 years to know more about doing chores without a woman's consent is pretty much appreciated. Sometimes, I think that the differences are what makes men more attracted to women. That part of the heart specially made for only women to reach.

You can get her a bunch of red roses and a box of dark chocolates. Women go for that all the time, or how about a Cd of her favorite romantic singer. In the old days, there was always a movie.

The movies sound great. I have not particularly asked her about the music she likes. Maybe I could try and practice a song she really likes and sing it to her. That would be a bit embarrassing. Just the thought of singing to her makes me smile. 8-)
