Why oh why did they decide to get rid of Jack O'neil on stargate!?

I was extremly disapointed when Jack O'neil on Stargate(Richard Dean Anderson) wasn't really a main role on Stargate anymore. I felt as though this really tore apart the rest of the shows. I still enjoyed it, but I missed Jack's sarcasticness! How many others felt the same way I do? lol :p

lol me too, though since I understand Richard Dean Anderson was the producer of the show I can see how he might want to take a backseat sometimes and just produce.
