My hunney was practicing this week for hunting and he was so excited to go hunting for whitetail deer. We already checked his tree stand in the woods and some orange tacks so it's easy to find it. We found some deer traces like foot mark on the grounds and fresh poops. (hehehe) i jst want to go with him in the woods so i would know where he is going to hunt in case something happen to him i easily find where he's at. His first day of hunting was today, we woke up early this morning and prepared him coffee and breakfast. i already helped him prepare all his hunting stuff last night so we won't forget anything. He has a little bag to wrap around his waist w/ drinks in case he gets thirsty with flashlight, knife, headcap, celphone and all his hunting stuffs for deer. I wished him goodluck before he left and i always pray that he'll be safe. This is one of his thing that's why i support him because he enjoys hunting. He practiced very well this week so i know he is ready to shoot a deer once he sees one. It's archery that's why he is using a bow and arrow cause it's not riffle season yet. :) i'd like to go with him in the future cause i know it would such be a wonderful experience. Hope every hunters can take home a big buck this season. God bless!

I hope he gets a deer for your freezer!!! You do use all the meat, don't you??? My husband (and just about his whole family) hunt. As a matter of fact, they are out today getting all the rest of the deer stands ready. My husband wanted to bow-hunt this season but he has not been able to find a bow that he likes and is affordable. Rifle season opens up in 6 weeks so he'll definitely be out then! We only had one deer last year and that meat was gone a month or so ago. I've actually had to buy beef at the grocery store!!! My husband would like me to learn to shoot also, but I'll leave that to my sister - she hunts also and has gotten a deer before.

yeah we are excited to get a deer meat and we'll freeze it for sure cause we have a big deep freezer, yes, we use all the meat we can get and we will share it his family and few friends too so i hope he get's one within the 6week hunting period. i want to try eating deer meat since my husband said it's good, he'll make deer burgers, bologna and beef jerky, if he get's a deer i'll tell you. :) Hope you have a nice day and Goodluck hunting!

You are certainly one of a kind gal because most wives don't like their husbands to hunt. I'm one of them but I respect your decision in any case. I'm glad mine doesn't hunt because I don't like to see an animal be killed unless it's to be put out of it's misery. We don't eat deer either. Hope he's safe and happy.

honestly, i don't really like hunting since i wasn't use to eat and i hate seeing any animal being killed also but this is my husband's interest and i support him because he already explained to me why they do it and there are millions of hunters all over the world that do this. I am just trying to be a broad minded and understands why they have hunting in this country :) never ate a deer before and i'd like to try some when my hunney gets a buck :) they also die in the winter so it's also putting them out of misery before it happens. i understand what you feel about this catsanddogs because i was like that before but i jst respect and understand my husband also since we already talked about this before and he don't force me to hunt with him or do the things that he like doing. Take care and Godbless! :)
