When my father retired almost 10 years ago, he bought a car for the family. Then when my younger brother got a job, he bought a motorcycle because the car consumes a lot of goes and it is policy in our house that if you use the car you will be responsible for the fuel. So we have a car and a motorcycle at home but most of the time it's more convenient to use public vehicle in going from home to work as you don't have to think about fuel or accidents that might happen. I think that bringing your own transport is a lot of responsibility for me and it requires one to be mindful and careful not get into an accident as it is very expensive to fix damage property and causes a lot of stress too.
