Why would you post your picture on the internet?

"Aren't you worried somebody will edit your photo to make you look ridiculous?" No, why should I? I don't care what people say about me, or think about me, so why should it bother me what some unknown person does unknown to me regarding photoshop and my image? Makes no difference to me. "Don't you worry someone will only like you because of your looks or say you are ugly?" Not everyone on the internet is looking for relationships, so why should I care if someone likes my looks or not? And as far as someone calling me ugly, I don't shut myself indoors for fear of someone saying it on the street, where I'd have to hear it outright ... so why should I hide it over the net where it's a bunch of strangers who's opinions on my looks means nothing to me? "Why would anyone post their picture on the internet?" 1. So that the people they're talking to have an impression of them. It's easier, and more fun, to converse with someone when you can put a face to the words. 2. To allow friends and family who aren't in the same city to keep up with changes. 3. To show they're a real person and not a faceless troll. Website members who show their pictures are generally taken more seriously and given more credibility than those that hide behind default images. No offense, but you're far too oversensitive if you think some stranger on the net putting you down for your looks based on a picture is an issue, and far too paranoid if you think posting a picture is a problem.

I post one pic of me online. It is in my photos here and in my Multiply account which is a locked account for only my family. Otherwise I don't post pics of myself online. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
