Especially when the food is for babies or for little children

Well, I've spent so many years working in restuarants that I never let stuff sit out more than four hours. We also have been dicing up a lot of stuff really tiny for my niece, and before that we would chew it a little and bird feed her its of hings that seemed harmless - like bread, potatoes, chicken when it was kind of bland. We also always wash our hands when preparing it so as not to get her sick with any crazy germs like ecoli and salmonella, but we pretty much let her have a variety ofthings as long as they aren't too spicy or hard on the stomach - no onions, or garlic, but green beans are okay, that kind of stuff. We actually even find ourselves kind of gearing dinner towards stuff we can share since she seems to understand meal time is for everyone and always wants her own stuff to participate along with us! Basically, we just use common sense in keeping with a tiny tummy and only two teeth.

Babies are sensitive when it comes to food. As a mother I am particular in general about the food my baby eats everyday.
