I've never been to Las Vegas so I wanted to know if it's actually worth it for a trip up there. It's kind of far from me though, and if it isn't really worth it to drive up there, I dont know if I want to waste my time. What do you all think that have actually been up there? Is it worth my time?

Aha, sounds fun. Although this is quite an old discussion thanks for bumping it up to the top again so additional people can respond, I was hoping to get more input about it. I still haven't gotten a chance to go yet but I do plan on it, soon.

It's good that not everone likes Vegas, there are too many people there the way it is, especially on the weekend.

I HATe gambling, so Vegas is no place for me. BUT it is an interesting place, I guess. it's too bad that the Belagio no longer lets you view their art gallery for free, because that was worth it. But you can wander in and out of the casinos without having to pay anything. People watching can be interesting, the architecture is just unique. There is a lot of money in vegas, and equally so, a lot of poor people looking for some. I don't care to ever go back, but to each his own. I prefer being outdoors, than being surrounded by blinking lights and clanging machines.
