An odd thing on neopets

My roommate plays neopets even more than I do. And she's noticed something odd with her pets of late. The last two times she's put her pets in a neolodge they have gotten sick. She's not using a cheap hotel, Mountain Lodge or higher. I've never had this happen to me and was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this pattern. She does play the wheel games and I know that sometimes they can cause an illness. Or it might be just a coincidence. Anyone else have pets get sick from going to a lodge?

I put my pets in there all the time and I have never had that happen. Did they get sick while they were in the lodge? Maybe she picked it up when she was spinning one of the wheels or doing a daily at the site.

Yep, two different times they were sick when they checked out. I don't know what caused it.

Turns out we were able to track down at least one cause of her pets getting sick to the scarab expellor box game. Neither of us knew it could cause negative things to happen, but I was able to get that info through the help forum on neopets.

Your pets cannot get sick from being in the Neolodge. The most likely cause is from either a random event or from spinning the "Wheel of Excitement". If her pet does get sick, she can take it to the "Healing Springs" for free every 30 minutes until the pet is fully cured. If she doesn't want to wait for that to work, she can purchase a cure (which can be very expensive).

She's pretty sure that she would have noticed if that happened. Thanks for the info, we've been playing for quite a while but you never know who might know something we've missed. We just wondered if there was some new glitch going around.

No You can't get sick from using the neolodge... They just stay at the neolodge and get fed. Also it doesn't matter which neolodge you use, the cheap ones were just as good as the expensive ones back when i played, im not sure if that is still the same.
