Yup men also have feelings as women, and emotions that makes them human too. I just hate what other people say that crying is only for babies and women. The truth is i think men who cries are brave enough to show their real emotions. On my way home last night on a public utility vehicle (jeepney) sitting infront of me was a man w/ a traveling bag in his lap, he was crying after a receiving a call from his cellphone, i mean during the conversation he covered his face with a face towel and i felt a pinch in my heart to see someone crying the way he did. I just thought well i guess that was a really bad news for him to be so upset. What about you friends, share your thoughts about this... is it ok for men to cry?

Hi mycharm88.. Anyone can cry as long as he/she wants to express her feelings and emotions through crying. By way of crying, you can express what you feel inside your heart and mind. When you cry, it means you're concerned to yourself and/or to other people as well. Have a nice day and God speed!

Crying is not really a big deal for me, it's natural and I believe it is because we have feelings. For me, it is the BEST way to cleanse someone's soul. It can be of many interpertations, from sadness, anger, guilt, or happiness. I always consider crying as a deeper part of our being, of how we are different from other living things here on earth.

Well, I am sure you don't consider laughing or smiling a sign of weakness too, so why consider crying to be one? When you are happy - you laugh. When you're sad - you cry. We do have these emotions be a man, a woman or a kid , why should we hide them? There's nothing wrong when a guy cries. It's all part of our emotions. All of our emotions, our stress, anxiety and our depression just get flooded away by our tears. It's just good to "let it out of our system."

I agree with you. I dislike men who can't cry 'coz that means he can't show his true feelings. I like my hubby 'coz he is in tune with his emotions and he can share his deepest emotions with me, including crying. ;-D SALUTE to all men who're in tune with their feelings and who're not afraid to show their feelings to their loved ones (at least)!!!

men are as emotional as women, they just act tough. I think women are emotionally more tough but they display their emotion more easily.

Hi mycharm88, Of course it's okay for men to cry. We are human too. I thought the idea that men don't cry went out a long time ago. Suppressing emotions is not good for anyone.Blessings friend.

i think crying is not something to be looked down on, unless theres a no stop crying rampage haha. but seriuosly, being able to cry shows emotion and caring for either oneself or the other person. maybe its harder for men to cry than women, but thats just what we have learned as a society, so in general i would say yea, its ok for me to cry, but because of the influence of society, i would also say that its only ok to cry for the big stuff lol

A friend of mine's daughter got into a car accident. It was not her fault, and she had to go to the hospital. She had been in an accident before, being a rather emotional young lady, and my friend was very upset and was crying. His wife was in the hospital with the daughter and that is why she was not in church that morning. My husband also cried with his mother and father passed, even though we knew that my father=in-law could go at any time and later, my mother-in-law was talking about going to heaven and made preparations.

These are inevitable situations in our lives, and we do get hurt and cry over these tragic moments. What's important is that we learn to accept it and move on. It's really hard but it's part of being human. Thank you very much for sharing this here, you tc always my friend. c",)

I cry when I feel like crying...and it makes not much sense for me to control tears when the urge is there. And even if I try to control tears there are moments I cannot control so I cry as loud as I wanted to cry...and I shall cry even in future if I want to.

It is silly to me if someone day crying is only for babies and woman. How we should than show our feeling?Crying show them too.For me it is really ok when men cry, but not only ok, it shows me , taht somebody has feeling and has no problem to show them.Anyway why he should?Beucase society think something silly? If I would be men I would cry when I feel like and when I want.

My father always said me that crying is not a thing of brave people but i think he was wrong. We should be free in all circumstances and must be free to show our emotions. Now, as you said i also agree your saying that we must not hide our emotions and i cry like a baby when i feel to cry. And there is no shame that i feel doing it.
