What would've caused my response to get deleted?

I posted a response to a Halloween discussion. I added a link to my album with pictures of a party we've had at our house as well as a couple of costumes I made for me and the dog ..... and the response was deleted.
Does that sound strange or is it a glitch to watch for. That's twice I've posted replies that I've had trouble with. The one time, I clicked submit and it didn't even post at all.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with this

I can't say for sure since I didn't see the post you made but from what you described it sounds like a misunderstanding. Someone may have thought your link was referring to your personal business or something like that assuming you were trying to sell your costumes on here.
Last I checked the guidelines didn't say links weren't allowed at all, they just had to be done carefully. If it was a misunderstanding in your case you should try to contact mylot administration about it. Even if they can't put your post back they should at least know you weren't trying to violate the guidelines.

That's a good idea.
If they woul've looked at the pictures, there would've been no doubt that I wasn't selling anything
... plus the picture of the dog dressed as Zorro would've had them in stitches LOL!

I'm not wasting too much time here either.
Why go through the trouble to post anything smart or fun when it might get zapped because the MyLot trolls can't mind their own business.
This site is going to be a razzy winner if this keeps up

Have you emaild admin? It sounds like a glitch to me. Either that or the writer of the discussion didn't like it and flagged it. Either way I would write to them.

I'm gong to write them right now.
I think it was probably a glitch becasue I can't see it getting flagged by someone who asked about our Halloween habits and such.
