hi sonalika! yes, situations vary n people too but care is a thing that is a little away from these fixations. in my opinion if a person just simply holds the hand of the one who's sad n say with a smile, that 'you are special' and then even remain silent, it wud make some difference.

Hi! How are you?.. I think there's no easy way to change a sad one to have the positive mood. Although it really depends on how the situation or who is the person that is involved. But I believe, that the one or the thing (the reason) that makes a person sad is the only factor that can do the easiest way to brought back the person's happiness.

Well. Let's see here. If they're my friend I would probably try to spend the day with them and do whatever they want to cheer them up whether it be a movie, bowling, etc etc. Now. If they're my lover.. which I dont have at the moment anymore, I would probably spend the day with them cuddling and talking and trying to cheer them up and maybe rent a few movies.

When someone close to my heart is lonely, I stay beside her. If she needs to talk, I will just listen. If she needs a shoulder to cry on. I just let her lean on my shoulder. If she needs an advice, that is the only time I will speak of her. If she wanted us to go out, I join her. I remember a friend who wants somebody to drink and sing with her just to ease her sadness. I joined her, even I don't really drink hard that much and I don't have a golden voice for singing. It went out to be a happy time and lasting memory for both of us.

Well in my opinion, distraction is the best way to get out of a sad situation. A total change from the situation would help. Sometimes it can be watching a movie, may it be a Comedy or a full action packed movie. Sometime going window shopping also helps. But you have to be with the person who is sad, without letting them be on their own. The more they are on their own, the more they get glued to the situation.
