My Relaxing Time On Mylot!

Now that my dad isn't around the house I tend to listen to a lot of music while online myLotting or playing various games. I have Dierect TV and they have the XM sattelite radio stations broadcast. So I crank up the surround sound as I listen to either the 50's XM station or the 60's Xm station. I love those eras of music. Not like the junk today that's made. HAHAHA! So what do you do to relax while online? Do you have or listen to any type of sattelite radio? I am seriously thinking about getting a sattelite radio for the car. No commercials at all. Just the intros etc of songs is all. They have maybe 50 stations on XM available. I'm done babbling. HAHAHA!!

I really don't listen to any kind of music while online. Prolly cause I've got so many windows open to maximize my limited time on here. lol

I usually watch the TV at night falling asleep watching a movie I've wanted to see for weeks. HAHAHA!! Figures being an old fart huh?

I will usally listen to music, I like country music, alot of times thou I will have the TV on watching cooking shows

Most of the times, I turn on the tv to accompany me since silence can sometimes be deafening.
I also try to listen to music, and I do agree with you about the music today and those from the past. Unfortunately, we don't have satellite here, since we only rely on cable tv's and normal radio stations. I think it's gonna take ages before we get that kind of connection here, because it's too expensive for us to spend on that type of entertainment!;)

I don't really do anything relaxing while I'm on the computer. I very rarely listen to the radio in the house. Sometimes I'll listen to music when I clean house just because I feel like I get the cleaning done faster but I don't usually do that very often. We don't have the XM radio either but we know some people that do and they really like it.

Thanks. I like the garage band music as well. I also like the alternative stations from the UK with all the techno music.

I like to listen to music also, when I'm mylotting, etc.. At other times, the news is on..

Hi Grandpa~ Well, no one can deny the need & importance of a Radio ... really the oldest medium of enjoyment, information etc. and knowing your passion of listening Radio sounds that this is much popular still in Young Peoples too ;) Hmmm really nice! What I would like to add about myself is that I don't have much time to be online besides whilst being at workplace and you know this is much difficult to spare leisure timing at workplace :)
Being at home, I use to listen FM Radio and tahts it Sir! Thanks for sharing your leisure time activity.

Hello grand pa bob. Its nice that you relax while you do mylotting and other online stuff.
While chatting with friends and at the same time mylotting, i also listen to launchcast and listen to my favorite praise and worship songs. Its very easy to use grand pa bob and very enjoyable. I get motivated by it and it seems that I can write faster while the music is there. Soothing and giving me energy to post and post here on mylot.

Hi grandpa bob!Hope all is well:)Its hard to "relax"and listen to music in our house because our daughter has some kind of cartoon whalling away,lol.I listen to my satellite radio in my van and its always on 70s or 80s music,i just love it,ha,ha.The music now adays are too much banging and ryming for me:{To the hip hop bip bop twang bang,thing,lol.Get a satellite,you will fall in love all over again,hahahaha:):)

I'm right now enjoying the quietness other than the sound of my keys being pressed on while typing away. I love the quietness although I don't press for it all the time because I'm legally deaf and will be totally deaf some day and soon for it's progressing along faster and faster now a days. So in a sense, I'm getting use to being in my own little world of silence. Besides that, the summer I've had, which was hectic, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet for a change. I've been put through the ringer and hell and am working on coming back and this is one way to do it... enjoy the quietness.
