I am overweight. I am large boned, which does not help much, and also muscular. I tried to lose weight, even took off ten pounds, after trying the long route of one pound a week, by taking diet products, diet pills, etc. I also got sick doing so. You see if you have a large boned structure, if you do lose weight, you do not look as if you do. Those who are smaller and medium boned can see the weight come out, their tummy's shrink, etc. I think that is the problem. Also since we already have the heavy bones to begin with, we do not feel as lethargic and tired as those who had thinner and lighter bones. That is my take on this. Still the same, I will continue with the walks and the vegetable and fruit eating, and eat balanced.

I am overweight but I wear it fairly well due to my frame and height...I'm working on losing though...I'd LIKE to get down to 135-145 but would be happy at 155....right now I'm 170...which isnt bad considering I weighed in at 205 last summer! Heaviest I've ever been in my life and I HATED IT!!

I used to hide the fact that I was overweight by wearing lose shirts and avoiding wearing things that were too tight for me. However, while it became fairly easy to hide the cosmetic side of being a little tubby and even being able to see some over weight people as "Cute" in a babyish sort of way, the health problems were less fun to deal with - especially when the back started giving trouble.

Yes I am a little overweight. I was losing weight and then I quit smoking, then I gained some of the weight back. So now I have to start trying to lose the weight again. I have found that drinking green tea helps, it helps speed up your metabolism and that helps you to burn calories faster. Also the green tea is very healthy for you.

I have struggled with my weight for the last 25 years, but right now, I only a few pounds overweight and am working on those few pounds. I currently have health problems that affect my metabolism. At times, I gain weight very easily, but I always try to lose weight when I get to a certain point. But, I also have severe hypoglycemia and have a hard time when I eat too little. At other times, I can lose weight very easily, which can be dangerous because I can't metabolize a large variety of foods and it can be hard to gain the weight back. So, I plan to keep a few extra pounds to keep healthy.

You must be skinny, Oops, No just kidding. LOL. slimmer people tends to look better as long as they are not too thin.

Lol, thanks for responding to my comment. Recently, I found that I was deficient in some minerals and started to take supplements. I also had to cut down on chocolate :(. But, my hypoglycemia has gotten a lot better and I am beginning to lose that last amount of weight. Hopefully, I can reach the weight I want. I have always exercised a ton and usually eat very healthy, but could never really lose much weight. While, at the same time, I would see people eating more than I did and exercising less and be normal weight.

from what i understand if you really want to lose weight then you have to work out. you have to walk. you have to stop eating the crap food! i mean what is the point of drinking something that works then drinking pepsi!! LOL cause that is my thing. so i am cutting out the pepsi. coffee, and anything white for one month. i am going on a raw juice fast to clean out my body. did you know that you hold up to 9 days worth of food in your intestines?

I plan on losing some weight. Some just went off without me doing any serious trying. But I could stand to lose a few more anyhow. I walk a lot, so I tend to find that walking is right helpful.

I am pretty much in control of it now! Trust me you will feel so much better about YOURSELF! it isn't about what other people think, it is doing it for yourself to prove to yourself that you can do it. We all want to live the dream of a hot body - yes even those of us who say we dont. I have been running for 1 hour everyday on my elliptical runner, and am getting really fit... i wasn't that big at the start, i am only 20 and consider myself to be a fairly fit person just chubby round the edges now i am trimming up and my self esteem is high, i feel better than i remember feeling.

I'm overweight. After 3 kids, one of which I just gave birth to 2 months ago, I'm about 50lbs over weight. I'm now on a quest to lose the weight. I am not so much concerned with exactly what I way though. I want to lose weight, but I also would like to be in better shape. With 3 kids to chase after I need to be in good shape.

I've been at battle with my weight now for about 20 years and still I am fat. I have trired all sorts of weight loss product and just straight out diet and exercise. Dexatrim & acutrim (the very same day) made me feel like I was starving and shook so bad I couldn't get the food in my mouth fast enough, slim quick was just a little chocolate "quick" drink for 2 months, herbalife made me gain weight in 2 weeks, , trimspa did absolutly nothing after a 2 1/2 month stretch & Akavar with the first month I lost 1 pound but then it could be because I was sick with ear infection.. a $40.00 bad investment. These are just some of the "pills/drinks" I have tried. I have been watching my fat and calorie intake along with exercise everyday for 20 years and I am still at 307 pound. I would like to weigh 105 pounds (although my husband has no problem with my weight and still finds me sexy, as he even tells me so)b I would gratefully settle for 175. My 2 children are grossly over weight also and we are all suffering depression as losing weight is the hardest thing to do no matter how much effort is put into it. My maternal side is "heavy and the other is "thin".. I often wonder if it really is hereditary and "we" are just destined to be fat.

You know it could be heridtary, I know what you can do, you and your family It is free and it don't cost nothing start walking every day, I bet that would help, it helped me , but I got lazy, and stopped, you half to want to do it. I think it is better when you have other people with, be careful. you don't want to get any heart disease. Try doing it for you health, walking and cut down eating, have you tried Gratefruit? eat that more.
