Sometimes I feel that I cannot live without books. They are my biggest pass time, and no matter how alone I may be, I can read and read and never feel really lonely. When books are really good, they are hard to put down and I try my best to finish off all my chores so that I can cuddle up and start reading. Sure enough, they are my best friends.

I also love to read, but I would not consider books my best friend. Books do have a lot to offer in terms of stress relief and being there for me, but a book cannot listen or offer advice. I need to have that side of things in a best friend.

I feel the same. I really can't imagine what my life would be without books. I love to read..I read everything I can put my hand into. When im deppressed all i really need is 1 good book to cheer me up. I feel so calm and peaceful when i'm surrounded with books.through books i can see places where only the imagination can dare reach. this is why as early as 6 months i had introduced books to my son.i want him to appreciate the value of books.

Truely speaking i perfer books rather then computers tutorials or material.its different taste while reading the book or magazine rather then reading something inside computer.books or magzine gives me somebit of releive when i put-off the computer and reading them but at the same time i feel the necessity of computer also daytoday life.

Good question! I love to read too.
I read on the way and from work and when i get to work sometimes I don't want to put my book down. Then I have to wait until lunch-time before I can pick it up again.
Sometimes I forget to put my book in my bag and I have nothing to read and I hate that!
