Are you a flag person

Hi Terry, no, I am definitely not a flag person and have not even one. Here in The netherlands I don't know anyone having flags and displaying these for various holidays, so there is quite a difference in a country's customs I guess TheFortunes

I don't own any flags however my mother in law is sending us an All Black Rugby flag and should be arriving tommorrow before the quraterfinals of the World Cupt games starts on Saturday. It's going to be hanging from our car (says my husband!)

I keep trying to talk the wife into getting one of those flag/banner deals for all the Holidays and seasons. But I do fly Old Glory the flag of thre United States daily. I don't have that kind of holiday flags. Actually, in Turkey we don't have such a thing. We don't have state/city flags either. People only hang the Turkish flag on 4 national holidays, and also sometimes when their patriotic feelings arise. And when they are too excited, they may hang some flags with Atatürk pictures on them. Anyway, I'm a flag person but not exactly the way you are. I have many national flags hanging around my room. Currently there are the flags of Turkey, Greece, Angola, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany and Bosnia Herzegovina. I change some of them when I get bored. Also, when watching a national game on tv, I hang the flags of the countries playing under the TV and get in the mood.
