oh yes terry, its one of my kids favorite breakfasts. My husband always cooks up Sunday breakfast, and he uses chipped beef to make his. Is this your meat of choice? any way the kids have always loved it and thought Sundays a special occasion just because of breakfast.

I cant believe you never had this. Its also called creamed chipped beef. You can buy some packett of chipped beef. Then make a white sauce and put the chipped beef in it. Then make some toast. Then pour it over the toast. And its heaven! Or you can buy it frozen. Then you would just have to place the plastic pouch in the boiling water.LOL Stouffers makes a good one.Dont tell anyone but tonight mine was a stouffers!heheheheh

Chipped Beef Gravy! My dad used to call it that all the time whenever we'd have it for dinner. I never really understood why it was called that. Heck I still don't understand it. My mom used to make it from scratch. WEll she'd buy the chipped beef and then she'd make the gravy. I really love the frozen creamed chipped beef from Stouffers. It's really super good!

Ok. I admit i hadnt heard of this before, so had a look at the responses. Sounds pretty good, but not sure what chipped beef is. It might be like our corned beef which we have with white sauce, and its yummy on toast too best wishes terry

Ya know, I think you just made me change my mind on what I am making for dinner. I love that stuff and I have a loaf of bread I need to use up and a jar of dried beef in the pantry. I have not made it in a long time. I like it on mashed potatoes too. The venison I am thawing out for dinner is not all the way thawed yet anyway. I will use it tomorrow night. Tonight is now Sh!t on a Shingle night!
