Its recommended that you keep your eyes on the road and never make eye contact with an opposing driver. All the more so if your a girl and the other driver is male. Of course its an indication of low mentality and childish behavior. All the more reason to avert your eyes, say a prayer and get the hell away from th maniac!

LOL,a older man did this to me last week when i was at the lights waiting for them to change.I guess he was in a hurry and got mad because i was on the same line which went two different ways and he was impatient. He squeezed his jeep between my van and the side walk and passed while giving me the finger and looking at me.I was just amazed that someone of his age would this, lol. My daughter saw it and said why does he do that? She does not know what this means and i dont want her to.

What I would do would depend upon my mood. I have been known to smile and wave when this happens. I have been known to flip the bird back. Yes, it's childish to flip the bird. I've also heard it called the New York wave!

It has happened to me once before. I was going to work and I stopped at the stop sign. The person coming from the south ran her stop sign and kept going. I of course still sat there because I always check to see if everyone stops on a 4 way stop. She had slowed down, and when she passed me, she flipped me the bird. She didn't look at me at all, and I hadn't honked or anything. I guess she was telling me she knew what she did and didn't care if it ticked me off. Running the stop sign didn't tick me off. When she flipped me the bird, it did tick me off. I was much younger then, and if it happened again I think I'd be like, whatever. Your 'badness' does not impress me. : )

I do think it is childish but I am guilty of doing this. I think there are alot of people that do this....I try not to do it but there are the days that I am in a mood and everything tics me off and if someone does flip me off I do flip them off...But alot of times I just try to keep it to myself and bit** about it in my head.....
