Longest phone call...

I really don't enjoy speaking on the phone. It starts to get downright exhausting to me after about an hour. The longest I've ever been on the phone, that I can remember, is about two hours with my then boyfriend. But that's really unusual for me. I try to cut it off after about 30 minutes with anybody. I prefer to communicate either in person, face to face, or in writing.

Yikes..six hours on the phone?? LOL I've never been really much of a phone person to begin with...My idea of a long conversation is no more than twenty minutes to a half hour...Although on occassion will talk longer, especially my friend from CA or a friend upstate--then I might talk about two hours! But that's kind of rare with me

Time flies when I am on the phone. I have no idea how long my longest phone call has been. I do not believe that I have ever made it to six hours. That is definitely a record for the books. I think the most that I have ever talked is maybe three hours, to a boyfriend.

Longest call was only thirty minutes..Talking is nice but i am not prefer on phone calls. But i think its depend on the person that i'm talking with..:)

The longest phone that I had lasted for an hour and half. It usually came from my friends. We are both a full-time housewives right now so we have an ample time to chitchat on the phone when we are done cleaning the house. We don't have kids yet so nothing really to get busy with, so we usually talk over the phone.

My longest call has been 3 hours to my fiance, he's a long haul trucker, what hung us up was we lost a signal he called right back an then we talked for another hour so I don't know if that counts or not. -Amber

i dont usually like to talk on the phone unless im talking to my boyfriend. we live in different countries, so i love hearing his voice. it makes my day go by better. sometimes im his alarm clock in the morning, so i wake up around 6 or 7 to call him and wake him up for work. when that happens, i have a really great day because i wake up to his voice. i think the longest ive ever been on the phone was 6 hours or so, but i dont really remember. when i was a sophomore in college, this guy i was interested in would call me every night while i was away on thanksgiving break. we would talk for hours and hours on end. when my boyfriend and i first started going out, we would also call each other every night and talk to each other for hours until we ended up falling asleep on the phone together.

The longest I was on the phone was to my friend, it lasted over 3 hours and all my free minutes went on my mobile phone. My ear was burning when I finally got off. Now I must admit i try to avoid ringing her as I can't be rude and say I have to go, but I also can't spend 3 hours each time she or I phone each other. Anyway it costs me a fortune!!

Hello there. My record is 5 hours. I was chatting with a good friend of mine. It was many years ago. I hardly chat on the phone nowadays. I do more text-ing and msn chatting.

LOL, this is really a very long talk. I usually talk about an hou with my mum, but she is far and phone calls are expensive. With my partner we talk at most about 1 or 2 hours at the time, and some friends that i dont see often too. But I cannot talk for 6 hours like you did :) TheFortunes

A little over three hours talking to my younger cousin. Its nice talking, but it can go on for quite some time.

Hi Ourdew. 6 hours? wow, that's really long. Haha. I used to on the phone with my sister who left to another state for her studies, 2 hours something the max and I can start feel the pain from my head. Well, did you and your fiance use skype? It will be more cost-effective. haha.

Thanks from asking! My longest phone call is about in 2 hours. I was talking with my ex girlfriend :( I used to be outside at winter and it was something about -20 celcius outside. I didn't have any jacket or etc on me...

That is quite remarkable! But of course you had a good reason to stay on the phone. : ) Mine was considerably shorter. It was two hours and thirty minutes, and I was talking to my sister, who was living in Missouri at the time. It was one of the few times we just started talking and nothing came up to ruin the sisterly moment. I miss those times. : )

I once talking to my friend for one and half hour. She got married earlier to me. When she returned from her honeymoon....she telephone me and narrated me all the details of her honeymoon and how she visited so many beautiful places, how nice her hubby was, how was their train journey etc. It was quite a long talk.......and I kept listening to her experiences quite intently for one and half hour.

6 Hours! That's beaten me.. I have been 2½ hours on the phone and was glad to get off because my ear was sore! That was a long time ago and I have hands-free now.. LOL

well my friend,i would have to say the longest i have talken on the phone was 3hr30 minutes and it was with my hubby well fiance at the time,it was a day before we were getting married and since we couldnt see each other that nite because of tradition,we talked.it was just so nice and we didnt want to get off the phone.but we knew the next time we see each other we would be husband and wife.hope all is well hon.hugs.pattie

Probably the longest most recent phone call is one from an internet buddy who lives in Savannah Ga. Our calls are usually somewhat lengthy. Usually averaging between one hour to an hour and a half. However I'm sure that there are otheres here who have laked much longer.
