How do you know when you're ready to be a mom?

My friend asked me this..and I really don't know if time would come when I'll be prepared for motherhood. Would there be signs?

From my wifes experience i am telling this.Vomitting is one of the signs.

yes, that's one of the signs of pregnancy. but what I wanna know is more on the emotional aspect of being a mom. thanks for the response

As the saying goes, "I'll cross the bridge when I get there." There could really be no sign if you are ready to become a mother. The thing is you feel it when your child is here already, when you hold your baby into your arms, when you bath her/him, feed and make her feel loved. That's basic instinct. The moment your child is here on earth, you just practically knew that you're a mother.
