My maid was really giving me lot of pain .....she use to come at any hour of the day ...she had started taking leave without informing...... I kept on telling her that due all this I was facing a lot of problem she didnt bother and kept on doing whatever she felt like..... Today I told her repeatedly to come late as come carpenters had come to repair the window panes....as a result the place would be dirty but she said she wont be able come late...... I said okay you dont have to come again you r fired ..... I feel miserable when I am rude with anybody....but there is a limit ......when people starts taking you for granted ... you have to keep your feet down. Whenever she use to fall sick we used to relieve her from doing any work she herself had told that she had never seen people being so kind like us. I was very upset I called my husband and told him about it,he told me dont worry you have taken the right decision.

It sounds to me as well that you made the right decision. It's good that you didn't make her work when she was sick, because a sick person shouldn't work. She should've been grateful for that and appreciated you, but she began to take you for granted. You did the right thing. What was her reaction to it? Don't worry about it, you will feel better! :) Like you said, there is a limit.
