Make it a manwich.

I've never really cared for the Manwich brand of sloppy joe mix. I guess it looks yucky because all the ingredients are so small that you can't identify what is in your sandwich. Basically, if you make your own with green peppers, onions, tomato sauce and any seasonings you like and dice the veggies so you know what they are, you might enjoy it more. Any time you make your own food, it always tastes better anyway. It's supposed to be the quick, cheap and easy version of a bar-b-q, so it's basically the same mixture without the more expensive beef or pork.

I have never cared for the packaged mixes or the canned ones either. When I prepared it for my kids I used spaghetti sauce. We always had it on bread. When I did serve them on a hamburger bun the kids were delighted. The manwich is one sandwich that I never have cared for, doubt I ever will.

I'm with you on that one, I seriously think they look so gross. I don't eat them, but my mom and brother eat them, and it looks so gross when they're making them. YUCK!
