Which do you prefer to do with most of the meals you make, use the grill or the oven? We primarily use the grill to cook in the spring and the summer, and a lot of the time in the fall and the winter. I still like to cook my soups and stews on the stove or in the oven, but we have tried it on the grill in a dutch oven, too. There are so many things that you can cook on the grill, that before we got our grill we cooked inside. Now, it is one of the things that my husband likes to use most. How about you?

We use the grill most of the time in the spring, summer and fall. In the fall we bring it into the garage and just slide it outside to cook on. I love the grill. It is so easy and yummy. In the winter I usually will use my nesco cooker. It is like a crockpot. I love it! I use it for sauce, roasts, chicken and soups.

YOu have to get a nesco cooker. ONce you do, you will never use your crockpot again. They are wonderful. They can be used as a slow cooker or also a regular cooker. I have 2 and use them all the time:)

I do like cooking on the grill the best, but the only time we do that is when we are camping, as the grill stays at the campground. There is definitely less cleanup.

I prefer the grill. It's alot easier to clean and I love the taste of grilled meat. We also love being outside so grilling is convenient for us.

I know, we love to eat outdoors, too, and it is nice when we can sit outside and cook the whole meal on the grill or grills in my case. We always seem to have more than one in our possession.

Hi there. Personally I prefer to cook on the old conventional oven, while my husband is the king on the grill lol... Although he uses the oven too, he prefers the grill...

I think I prefer to use oven for cooking. Since I have two little children who always running around, I don't think grilling is a good idea for me to cook. It can be very dangerous for them. That's what I think. Oven is more simple for me at this time.

Yes, it is a hard thing to grill when you have little ones running around. I had a friend that her son put his hand on the hot grill and burned it badly. I can see where the oven would be better for you.

We have one of those grills that you use inside, and we like to use it for almost everything. It's a bit faster and easier than the oven. Of course, anything that is baked needs to be done in the oven, but if we are cooking meat we will often grill it.

We don't have one that you can use inside. We often bake our potatoes on the grill too. I like to use the Reynolds cooking bags, and have even tried soups in those, but it is a little messy.

We rarely use the grill...we just don't think about it... though it makes sense to cook outside and avoid heating the house up even more.

Wow, I can't imagine not using our grill. I guess it helps to have a husband that loves to cook on the grill and we always have friends come over and they request something on the grill.

i prefer to cook inside on the stove or in the oven. We do grill a lot,but my husband does the grilling. He really enjoys doing it and it gives me a little break from cooking. We have even fired up the grill in the winter, just brushed off the snow .

I know, I do better with the stove or oven, but my husband and I share the cooking duties and if he makes the meats, I make the side dishes. It works out well for us.

I think cooking in the grill will taste better. I like eating something crispy.

I love cooking on the grill more than any other way of cooking. In the winter, using the oven does warm teh house though. I don't forgo the grill in the winter though, as long as it's not wet I have no problem grilling in the middle of winter.

Exactly my way of thinking. My husband does not mind being out in the cold cooking on the grill and he even uses the smoker more in the winter.

I agree, especially when you use the smoking wood chunks to flavor the meat, too. We use those a lot, and it does seem to put more flavor in the meats.

Definitely the grill. Comes out better that way for some reason. Every time i cook in the oven, my meat is tough and hard to chew...but i can grill very well

I am just the opposite, I have trouble cooking on the grill while I can cook just about anything in the oven or on the stove. My husband does all the cooking on the grill.
