Character is one of the main thing time for making friends...!!
I always look for a good charater in people around me and specially in friends.
My friends usually have different charcters than me. They all have different likes and dislikes.
But all I want is a positive character in a person.
This positve character means over all being a good person and this is one the reason why I am friends with my friends.
I always care a lot about ones character.

One of the adventages of having friends with different character is you can improve your own character from their good parts.

Yes thats true..!!
Like this you get know many kinds of people and about their behaviour in different stituations..!!
Cause I find "myself" more than enough for the character like mine...lol its true

I don't have any friends here so that doesn't really matter. But back home, my friends are on the same wave-length as me. We don't like all the same things but that makes for good discussions.
