Mmmm, I know, sounds delicious? My father lived in Indonesia on many acres of land. They used to catch lots of catfish and, would you believe, they hunted down bats and had them for dinner. So, have you ever eaten a bat and how did you cook it? In what did you cook it? What part of the bat is edible?

Yep, that would make sense. You can sell the wings though. I'll have to find out what the wings were sold for.

Oh, very cool. Did you happen to ask them if they liked to eat bat. How did they cook it? Or how about--did you ask them what it tasted like. Uww. I just can't imagine. Hehehe. Thanks for stopping by.

Uuuuwwwwwieee!! Gross! You win. Dog? Oh no. Turtle, that's a lot of fat, right? Alligator and snake? Oh my! I wonder who goes out to hunt that down. Must be a nice and safe occupation. And in conclusion, lol, I would agree with you that insects are just plain yuck.

Even if I live there I still would not eat a bat. I dont think its quite too safe. I wouldnt take the chances of getting sick. And by the way YUK!

LOL. I agree. But life was so different Pre-WWII over there and then during the war there was no food at all. Therefore, I might have eaten one. Well, maybe. The safe issue is interesting. I guess that would bring up a whole new discussion. Nonetheless, YUK is right.

I wonder what they taste like. I suppose it would be something like rabbit with a gamy taste. I have not had to eat bats, but I suppose if I were stranded someplace and that is all there was to eat, I would have to.

Yeah, a couple of us are at least debating whether we should eat a bat if we were stranded on a deserted island. I'm thinking it would take me a long time to get up the courage. I'd stick to eating the bark of a tree. And then again, how would one go about catching a bat? Oh, too many questions. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Have a wonderful Thursday evening.

No, I have never eaten a bat before, and I really do not have any plans to try them in the near future either. I understand that people in other countries eat different things, but I am not that brave or daring to try them out.

Not brave enough to try? This coming from someone who has a recipe for porcupine meatballs. Just kidding.

Oh no! That is the grossest thing I have ever heard! No, I have never eaten a bat and never would. I don't think that I could even eat one if I were starving~ too gross!

LOL. You sound so desperately grossed out. Are you sure though, that you wouldn't eat one if you were starving and stranded on a deserted island? Ugh! I know, I'm not sure I would either. But Dad said that you might be surprised to know that it was quite a tasteful dish. Thank the Lord we don't have to find out just yet. Go get some french fries. Have a wonderful Tuesday morning.
