I got a few the one ticket I got I owe $365.00 on. I think it is unfair, they gave me a ticket, 3 tickets in one day. I just went to get My liscense plate, guess what they have a block on my Liscenses. so I guess My car will be park untill I get the money. That ever happen to you? or have you got any Tickets lately? They even charge interst when you don't pay them on time. Do you think it is fair, I don't. Ok, come back and chat! Thanks Marcie

Sounds like that was your lucky day. ;-) Well i got one speeding ticket and one parking ticket, both have been paid and was a few years ago. Now i am a police officer and do not allow myself to get tickets, because i get teased by my kolleagues but also because i think it is sad to spend money that way.

Who the heck do they think they are, first giving you tickets and then expecting you to pay them. Now they have a block on your license plates, they went way too far this time. I do feel sorry for you, thats alot of money. I once got a speeding ticket a long time ago, I hurried up and paid that. Good luck Marcie, I hope you come up with the money soon, its hell to be grounded without wheels.

I have been unlucky enough to get a few parking tickets in the past, and although I felt I was done over, I paid up. I did, however, contest one ticket as I was parked on a friend's driveway and the warden decided my car was on the road. Fortunately I won that one.

Well, I have never gotten a ticket. This is only because I do not drive and I have never gotten caught jaywalking, littering, or any of the other things that could afford me a ticket. However, I am very sorry to hear that you can not drive until you pay a $365.00 ticket. That is quite a bit of money for a ticket. I do not need to drive, I am accident prone and I get in enough trouble just trying to walk. My level of anxiety is too much for driving also and we wont even discuss my eyes. The world is a safer place with me on public transportation.

Oh Goodness! I just got one not too long ago for parking in front of my house and forgetting to move it on street cleaning day, it was for $20. I haven't paid it yet. Glad they don't block getting licenses here for failure to pay a ticket.

I have only gotten 2 tickets since I started driving 26 years ago (boy that sounds like a long time, doesn't it?). The first ticket I got was for following too closely (and I hit someone, just slightly, very little damage to the cars, and no one was hurt). The second ticket I got was a doozie, it was 17 years ago. I was pulled over by a motorcycle cop, it was one a strange stretch of road, around a corner, there was a sports cars flying in front of me, he turned off the road, just before getting to the cop, so I didn't think it was me speeding but the car in front of me. I also couldn't find my insurance card, and I didn't have a current tag on the car. My car was in my dad's name, my maiden name which started with a T, and my last name at the time started with an H (that's back when they went by the last name, now they go by birthdays). So that was three citations in one, and I fought that one, I had the insurance card and a letter from the insurance company and I had the tag receipt in hand that showed the car in my dad's name. I also explained about the other car speeding in front of me, my ticket was thrown out, and the officers was reprimanded there in front of me for the way he handled the situation. I hope I don't get any more tickets, those were enough for me.

I have gotten one ticket since I have started driving 28 years ago. I got a parking ticket for being parked on the street overnight. It was for 50 cents. I am so lucky to live in a small town. I don't think it is fair for them to block you liscense plates.
