There are so many to choose from...I love them all. However, you said best of all time, so I go with AC/DC also. Back in Black was my first real album, that I myself bought. I love Live, Dirty Deeds, Big Balls, I love them all.

AC/DC is my alltime favorite band. Their live CD was the first CD I ever bought and its still one of my favorites. AC/DC is a band that i can listen to any time of day and it still makes me feel good.

Glenn Miller, Billy Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Guy Lombardo, James Last, Count Basie, Red Nickles and the Five Pennies, do you want me to go on. And don't forget the most famous Band Leader of All Time, John Phillip Sousa, leader of the offical US Marine band in the early 20th century. Those bands played music while the bands of today (especially hard metal), make lound noises.

AC/DC is fantastic. I have to go with the Beatles though just because of all of their hits.
