do you still ask money from your parients if you need some money for your study, for example ,you want to get a master digree or you want to study abroud,as we all known, the europeans and americans are very independent ,but i have been doubting how can they get enough money for their study.you study hard and get the scholaship?you work for a local shop?or you do something else like make money online?or it is not as what i have imagined ,most of you still ask money from your parients untill you have your own job?

I was financially independant since I was 16 the gov gave me some money and that was enough for me and if I took money from my parents I gave them back as soon as I could. This was my choice. After I turned 18 I did ask for money when I was runing low but I always payed back. They helped us when we got our house and we did not had to pay those money back.

I am a student of engineering now and my father has sponsored me for this. It is very difficult to make money doing work in some shops and all that. Moreover none can make great money working in such places that would suffice for an engineering course. Also, for the my study abroad, my father is going to pay. I dont have that much money with me to pay for my own degree anywhere. But after studies, i am obviously going to work and that way i will repay the money to my dad.

i ask for studyu from my family as most of Chinese student .you know ,China isn't euro or the u.s.a ,and has her own features .succeed from one's family ,is a common thing a;; over the world ,isn't it .though it cannot be the reason why we chinese boys and girls not make money ,but when the whole country do the same thing ,what would you do ?make money when you don't have enough ability can only bring nothing but failure in a so competitive place .

Being 18 means you're already independent which means that you have the ability to "stand on your own feet". If you wish to pursue further studies, prove that you are deserving, that is you can seek for scholarship or you can support your own studies by getting a good job to get your finances. It's not appropriate in our culture to ask financial support if you are already matured and ready to live an independent life.

i am a chinese, i ask money from my parients for my college study, i think most of the chinese children ask money from their parents. in west country, they need not ask for money because they have many kinds of scholarship, and many of them can study for free (i guess). i think our country put so little money on education, that why our chinese have much low quality. as for me, i think university should be free .
