I never did. I caught a show on the discovery channel about a couple with a little girl who had moved into a new house. The little girl started playing with what they thought was an imaginary friend. It turned out that "Mr. Gordy" had actually lived in the area but had died in 1974. Later, the girl and then the father woke up to claw marks on their bodies. The family consulted a psychologist and an expert in parapsychology. They wired the house with sensors to record ions and temperature changes and electromagnetic activity. They did a geological research on the area. All sorts of weird explanations were offered, but no one could explain away the physical claw marks. And then....I fell asleep 10 minutes before the end of the program. I don't know what happened! It was very engrossing. Anyone know the end of the story? how about your own ghost story?

I believe I saw that episode on Discovery. I didn't get to finish it either so I guess we will both be in suspense until a rerun lol! I do believe in ghosts. I have had several experiences that have caused me to believe. My grandmother passed away when I was a child, I got married and I stayed with my grandfather and I woke up to coffee being brewed at 5 in the morning, could smell it and hear it percolating! I went in the kitchen to see who was making coffee and the lights were off and no one was there. My grandfather told me it was my Nana. On another occasion as a child, we moved into a very old house and I had my bedroom upstairs in a seperate apartment, I had my own bathroom and there was an additional room up there. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, until I went to bed and every night the hair on my arms and the back of my neck would stand up, I could hear foot steps (which at first I attributed it to being an old house and the floors were settling) and a foreboding feeling. I took a bath in the antique claw foot bathtub in the bathroom up there and I had to get out and get dressed. I felt like someone was watching me and I felt like there was just a intense feeling of dread. I hated bathing up there or being alone up there in the evening. My brother used to sleep with me in my room so I wouldn't be alone, but he hated sleeping up there too. We would lay in bed and whisper to each other "did you hear that?", "OMG, theres something in here", then it didn't help that my mom snuck up the stairs and jumped on the bed and screamed "Heres Johnny!!!!", I think me and my brother almost peed ourselves!

The show must of been Ghost Whisperer cause I remember that episode. Had my daughter and I totally engrossed in it. Errrrrrr....I watched 6 4-episode dvds that night so I can't remember the ending. Blockbuster has them to rent on dvds. If you liked that one, you'll like the rest as well. :-) Ohhh and btw..I very much believe in ghosts/spirits. I have several watching over me all the time. I know cause I can 'feel' or smell them.

I did not see this show. It does sound very interesting. I must say that I do believe in ghosts and spirits. I think they are very real. I also believe that people can contact them through ouija boards etc. Wow I wish I could've watched this show. It sounds very entertaining!

third eye - my third eye is blind
It's hard for me to say that I believe in ghosts. I have heard so many stories, but have never actually seen one. I always go outside the house around 3 a.m. to do some chores and I still haven't seen one. My third eye must be blind.

Well, God tells us not to use mediums or sorcerers. The future is for Him alone to know. We do know there is a spirit world...good and evil. Ghosts? I don't know. If there were a phenomenon in my house...I would attribute it to demonic attack or something.

I dont believe in Ghosts, but i do believe that soul exists but its not ghost, its just our human psychology. But truly speaking, i too feel sometimes fear when i sleep lonely in my room coz i think there may be ghost, sometimes when curtain moves due to air,i began thinking there may be ghost behind that. So,its completely human psychology, not ghost.I think in the story about which you are talking, the girl and her father may have hurt themselves thinking that it is the task of ghost.I have heard lot of times in news that this all is happening with a boy or a girl, and ans is always that they hurt themselves. So i dont believe in it until it is scientifically prooved.

In my childhood,i indeed beleived so.Because i often hear refering stories from the eldership or my parents and i thought ghost was fierce and cruel. My hometown is in countryside and so when in the night i dared not to go out because i was too frightened to meet with a ghost. When i grow up i change my mind.i don't think there are any ghosts in the world. For my point of view, the so-called ghosts not really exist ,it's only an imaginary thing.i think Seeing is believing!

I don't have any experience with the ghost. I believe the existence of ghost. We can not do anything to stop this believe. What I can do is to be more self confidence and don't always think of ghost. Then it will no appear in front of you.

I kind of believe in ghosts. There are always shows on discovery and those channels about ghosts and things being real. our family went on a ghost tour and we went to an old train tunnel, and a little girl was killed by a train, and you can see a flashing light inside. it could have been someone with a torch at the other end, but still, it looked pretty real...

Seeing is believing as they say. Or to put it more appropriately, experiencing is believing. However, there are times that even our own sensory perceptions are not working for our own advantage. I mean we could be deceived by ourselves. I don't know exactly why others are having some ghostly experiences but as far as I am concerned, I still wish to personally see a ghost flying in front of me. As in any other regions, Philippines folklore is also rich with a lot of stories centered on the appearance of ghosts and other underworld character. Verifying these stories is of course, quite hard. SO I just leave that to the imaginations of the readers. Any ghost member of myLot? I hope not ...joking!

Hi estherlou! I haven't seen that show but for my own ghost story, I have one which I actually witnessed and experienced for myself. I was on my way home from a party with my friends. We are in a car and in order to get home, we have to pass this cemetery but it is not really that creepy at that time because we are traveling in groups. And then, the most shocking thing happened, we saw a white lady floating in front of the cemetery and it seemed coming fast towards us. I thought it was just a white sheet but then the white clothing touched my face and my friends' faces too. Well, we screamed of course and all got frightened. I didn't see the white lady's face nor have I checked her out how long her hair was..All I know is a long white dress is moving towards us. Believe it or not. Until this day, I still wonder if I really saw a ghost or just a dress that was swept away by the strong wind. Take care and have a nice day.

I think I do believe. It's because of my son, when he was a toddler he used to get up in the midder of the night to play. At first I was wondering when he does that, but he could not tell me cause he can't talk. At bout two he told me that there is this little boy at home, who played with him. He even wanted to shared his cookies with "him". Sometime he will even ask me why I let this uncle into our house and how he get in, because our door is locked. He like to talk to himself. I dare not aske him, I did once and he told me this old man was talking to him and there is only me and my son at home. So at last we moved and he did not do that again.
