blogs or discussions?can you tell me what the differnce?

For me, blogs and discussion maybe similar depending on the writer wants to share. Me, when I am writing a blog, i tell my story, what i learned from the day. What i realized, what i have to change, my observation , my dreams and my exciting love story. In discussion, we mostly shared our experience, our questions in mind and facts. For me they are similar, depending of what you called to what you write.
