Hey everyone, it is almost November which is National Novel Writing Month. For those unfamiliar with the http://www.nanowrimo.org/ the idea is to attempt to hack out an entire novel (50,000 words) in a single month. I have committed to doing it this year, and in fact have been trying to clear out as much of my homework as I possibly can before the 1st rolls around. So am I the only person around here that plans on doing it this year? Or are you too someone who is going to need sedating come November 1st?

This will be my fourth time. I won twice before and lost once. I have a vague idea of what I want to write and am just waiting for the 1st.

Hi! Uh - NO! I am busy enough with my web site, current book project, craft classes I'm teaching, improv classes I'm taking, and occasional articles I write. Good luck to you and the others on your novels!

Oh my gosh I could never write a novel in a month! But I wish you the best of luck. You have a lot of courage! Let us know how that works out for you! :)

Wow! I hadn't heard of that. But it sounds great! I may try it... have tried my hand at a novel before, but never finished any of them! I'm really glad you told me about this. It gives me something to think about!

I registered a few days ago and I am excited to start and hope that I reach the self imposed 55,000 words quota I have set for myself. This is my first time to join and I wish I would be one of those that will pass the 50,000 words mark.
