Would you consider a job at a call center?

The year is ending and the holidays is just around the corner. Most people are buying gifts for christmas and unfortunately for me, I still have no job. I am thinking of getting a job at a call center company but holidays and weekends does not exist in those types of firms. How about you, would you consider a call center job as a career?

As a career no, but as a temporaly part time job - no problem. I had many part time jobs (I'm 21) and I can say call centers are not always so bad as they'e described. So if you're looking for some extra money on christmas don't be afraid of it^_^

I would like to try it for 6 months or until I finish the service contract. Like most people, I hesitate because of the shifting schedules. But the pay's not that bad though... Maybe I'll try it. Thanks. I appreciate your response.
