Will Yuwie fail because everyone is just there to make money?

I thought this might be a good topic to raise. I joined yuwie a couple of weeks ago and mylot only a couple of days ago. My first impression of yuwie was that it was terrible. Let me explain. I joined up thinking that it was a social networking site that you could join with your friends and do the same thing as myspace and facebook. Plus it was an extra bonus that you could earn a bit of extra cash on the side. I was supprised to find that almost everyone that is there has the sole motive of making profit. Every second "club" and profile is devoted to figuring out the best ways to make an online fortune. I have approximately 40 friends that added me for no reason other than for me to click on their profile. What have they got to offer me? nothing interesting in their blogs or pictures. just more ways to make money. Yuwie.com very well much be the way of the future but the participants may well be very suprised when the revenue sharing rate (RSR) drops to $0.05. This may very well happen if advertisers realise that the members on yuwie are just clicking on the adds to make more money and not to buy the offered products. So I will be able to say I told you so when people earn $1.57 for a months work. What do you think about yuwie and willit fail because they dont have any real members. P.S. I have started a group on yuwie aimed at these people that are money hungry. go to http://clubs.yuwie.com/selfishbastard/

I believe you are right. I have even seen a blog with this topic telling just like you describing it. I Myst say I do appreciate Mylot more. Here you can write down things on your mind. You do not get paid much of it. But I feel it is not the money I am after. I use mylot every morning just to write something down, start a discussion, respond to some and make friends all over the world. This space is a wakup thing for me in the mornings. I put a pot of coffee, put on puter, and start writing. I improving my english to, which I do not use much in my life, but had a high grade from in school. Yuwie is like everything you say. You do not get paid for what you write and do, it is for seeing others pages and I did oversee a post that you also have to put up this page for some time in order to be paid. However, this site is a part of another site I am a member of and will continue to participate on, but not put more effort than I have time for. Getting money for having fun on Mylot I see as a bonus nothing els. It want pay your bills, or put food on the table you do have to work to. So for the free time you have to spare Mylot are the best place to be for that.

I have one person there that to me seems to be bragging how he got all his referrals and how deep his tree is and so on and so forth.. To be honest it's annoying to see it.. He does it in the notice box for EVERYONE to see.. Than he say look at my blog you know to get even more page views... He is a friend of mine there and has been nice to me so I do go and comment and leave... I am building up my friends list to get more page views I mean that's really what counts not just the referrals... I am not money hungry or anything like that and really it just sickens me to see people do things the way he's doing it...

I am a member of yuwie. I thought it was cool, initially. The site runs very slow, and it's just not what I imagined that it would be. My sister already deleted her account. I've not made up my mind, whether to stay or not, at this point.

I joined Yuwie one month ago. I uploaded photos and made a blog there. Unfortunately I have only earned USD0.02 and this is pretty low earning. So I lose my interest there because the payment seems much more lower than Mylot. And its minimum payout is USD50, so it's hard for me to reach it.

Well I don't know if I would join your club, but I understand what you mean. (Can I blog this in my blog? lol) Anyways, I am learning quick, which friend to avoid when it comes to reading blogs, they are BORING. My blogs are just like myspace blogs, what my interests and beliefs are, not some get rich quick blog to draw everyone in..

Yeah, I think Yuwie will flop unless they kick the most users and find new, who are actually interested in socializing. But I know some people who actually put their music or poems or pictures in there. they're like pearls in this pile of.... well, you know what;)
