Taking Freedom For Granted

Hello to my dear dear friends! I am now in Rhodes, enjoying a 14 day break on my own, after escaping life where I was not happy, I must say it is very strange getting used to be alone again and starting to get used to my newfound freedom!
I have broken away from a very very bad situation in my life where I felt trapped, now the cage has been opened and my wings have been unclipped I am as free as a bird and I can fly wherever and whenever I like!
But not being free for 9.5 years I am finding it hard but rewarding. I have flown on my own I have never done this before and I was scared of flying, not now!
I am staying in a foreign country on my OWN! and I have found my way around, used buses and visited new places and I have been swimming in the hotel outdoor poor everyday and I have had the pool to myself!
Just to say to my very very dear friends who I know have been worried about me I am GREAT! Enjoying my freedom and I am ok!
Lovely to be in a warm country especially this time of year!

WoW Wolfie!!...on your own in a foreign country. How scary is that, I'll bet the little kid inside you is giggling lots, I'd love to be able to do that. I'm going to try and have a short holiay on my own soon....before the end of next year if I have the money. I have so many problems around the home that need fixing.
I'm so glad you are doing this and feeling good about it. You are an inspiration to us all and a good example as well.

Hi Wolfie, I am so proud of you , you had a lot of fears and doubts, and you still carried on, one couldn't ask for more than that, and your freedom is particularly sweet because you earned it and obtained it under dire circumstances, well done Wolfie

Sweety you know how proud I am of you right? You are a strong man and I am happy to be your sister through choice - you are an inspiration to all who have been so low and in such a bad situation - there is light at the end of the eunnel and you are the proof of that!
Never mind the postcard knowing you are having fun and that things are going so well is more than enough for me!

Hope you enjoy all the warm weather. I have no idea what situation was so bad in England that you had to get away from it. I hope you were not in jail, unjustly convicted and -- well I do have an imagination -- you know you are innocent but your off line friends don't, well I write fiction, so what do you expect?:)

Hi wolfie hun *waves across the waters to lovely Rhodes* - so glad to hear you're enjoying your time out there! Enjoy every moment of your break, relish the different surroundings as all too soon you'll be back to your normal life at home again but you'll have the fond memories to bring back with you. i was sure you would have a great time in Rhodes, i was there before and enjoyed myself very much.
And if you want to continue the trip, you can take a plane (one hour flight) to israel would enjoy drinking coffee with you:)

I'm really happy seeing you happy, my friend. I have seen people posting lots of sad stories eversince i joined mylot. Though i'm not anti to those who are pathetic, i used to wonder why mylotters' lives are full of grief, because of the excessiveness of such posts. I was like, Oh God!, why are you being so unjust to my sweet mylotters?
I could hardly do anything to them but saying "I'm sorry for you, you'll be in my prayers", but everyone would give almost the same answer. I'm not even good at comforting people, i could just suck my thumb and howl at my helplessness.
Finally, i saw this one happy post from you, my friend. You made my day. I 'm glad to hear atleast someone in mylot is doing GREAT!

Hi there, wolfie! Your new adventure sounds so exciting, and I do hope that you will have enough fun for me while you're there. Freedom is a wonderful thing and you should guard it jealously.
