Good morning my friends and I hope that you are having a great day. Well today is the start of a new day for me and my boyfriend and maybe a new start to this hole that we have been in. Let me fill you all in on what has been going on with us. Last year in September while we were working someone wreaked into the back end of our Jeep and totaled it, in which we then found out that our insurance was lasped by three days so my boyfriend lost his licences over someone hitting us and I dont have a drivers licences. So now this lead us to driving without our Driver Lic. the job we were doing was delivering newspaper we had 5 motor routes so we did what we had to do. Well then one afternoon we got stoped and my BF was driving and the officer took his licences from him and he had to go to court. Wait it gets better! So now, after that we had to give up our jobs and routes because of taking a chance of getting caught again so now we have no income. Well as time past us he is now able to get his licences back but without a job we dont have the $200.00 it will take to get them. So with no income we started getting behind in our bills and was looking at getting kicked out of where we lived at. And my boyfriend is one of them that has to pay child support and with out a job yes he get behind for the first time and now has done 5 weekends in jail and just last week was picked up on a warrent for support not even a week after he did his jail time which took $200.00 to bail him out that we didnt really have. Now things are starting to look up for us, Our landlord instead of throwing us out he has offered us a job to take care of his rentals while he is on the road and away for free rent which was a load off our minds. And now for the best news, my boyfriend finally got a new job yesterday and he started to at 6am today. WE are so happy that there is a bit of light shining through this black cloud that has been hanging over us for the last 6 months. So now we can start to get back on our feet after a few pay checks start coming in, Life is great today even though it is pouring down rain right now the sun is still shining on us. I hope that everyone has such a wonderful day, can you just feel the love in the air. Starting my day with a big big smile. Hugs to all. Spreading some joy!

Happy to hear things are looking up for you! I went thru the exact same thing with my licence...little fender bender with no insurance and I lost my licence for 4 years becuz I could not pay for the required insurance nor the cost of getting my licence back etc because i lost my job becuz it was out of town and i couldn't get to it...I was in the midst of a divorce and my ex was in jail for DWI and so I also was not getting any child support. The state did not require him to pay nor did it accumulate while he was in jail. their reasoning was that he couldn't earn money from jail. When he got out, he was only ordered to pay 10.00 per month for 3 kids. That was years ago, we are all alive and well. Hang in there...it will all work out.

I understand what you are saying about ex's in jail my ex was in for three years and this past july he finally got me paid off on back support so mine is done and over with. Now my boyfriend's ex wife she drags him into court every month trying to get more money from him and he always pays his when he was working until he lost his licences and we lost our jobs but she just wants to keep him in jail. I lost my licences about 4 years ago because of my second ex, but they got supended because of a dang parking ticket that I got and the court gave me 30 days to pay it but they didnt say that my licences were going to be supended until I got it paid and one day when I left my house with my husband now ex to take him to a job site he was working at a cop got behind me and ran my tags, well I just got the car I was driving the night before so yes I had the plates to my other car on it and got stopped, well that is when I found out that my licences were supended and I had not been able to transfer my insurance yet because it was a Saturday so the cops gave me three tickets one for driving on supended lic., one for no insurance, one for inproper tags which all three tickets totaled $571.00 so they towed my car away took my licences from me and gave me a ride home. Now the best part of my life is that is the day I found out that my husband at the time was cheating on me and the job I was taking him to he was really meeting up with the girl he was messing around with. SO you ask what did I do, well I booted his but out the door with nothing but the clothes on his back, got a dirovice, 4 months later found the world best boyfriend and am very happy, but the licences part is that it will take $1,500.00 to get my licences back. Are you tired now,LOL.

Hey Hoghoney that is just great to hear that everything is finally falling into place after struggling for so long to make it. It must be a load off your minds. I know how it feels not having a place to live so your landlord is a godsend. My husband and a friend of his works in doing odd jobs and carpentry when they can in the summer to help make enough money to help them through the winter months and when things go wrong and money gets tight or non exsistant which it does it helps that my hubby inherited his moms trailer and little piece of land so we don't have to pay anything but taxes. Which hit us in November. But I am glad that you are finally getting some rays of sunshine in that black cloud you have been in lately may it beam brightly and last forever and give you good fortunes for a long time to come.

Aww thank you sweetie, our biggest hope now is that when he goes back to court on the 29th of this month that the courts dont put him back in jail and he can start paying his support again so we are still crossing our fingers, toes, and what ever else we can cross til then. Mooch!!

Well your little piggy there has a good reason to be doing a little dancing now to help celebrate. I just don't understand why they put a man in jail that is just trying to get back on his feet. Dumb if you ask me I know kids need to be cared for and all that but it is hard to do I mean he probably already feels bad enough because when he was out of work he couldn't pay for the support but lord Why put him in jail for trying? How is he supposed to work from a jailhouse? But I am glad things are looking up because you deserve it you both worked hard and things got bad for awhile but you both held on and look things are getting better. May you be blessed with everything you need.(HUGS)

I know what you mean about the court system, it suks. I can say that his ex should be happy that her kids have a dad that is always there for his kids, he never misses anything that goes on at school, sports, and he takes them every other weekend and he gets them every Wed night for 2 hours. Hell I would of been glad if my kids dad would of took them one weekend out of the month. But every year she tries her best before the holidays to get the court to put him in jail so that he cant have them on the holidays. she is just a big b!tch.

Thank you, it will be great when his checks start coming in. For the last three weeks we have been hauling in scrap for money just to keep the light bill paid and that also was thanks to my landlord, he had all of this metal and scrap stuff in his barn and he lets us haul it in so that we can pay the light, water, wastewater, and trash which is all on one bill where we live and that was a big help for us. Yea I like to have alot of fun, like they say if your going to do it do it right, LOL. Me and my boyfriend just kind of goes with the flow of things and take it one day at a time. Hugs back!!!

Your story is a touching one, and definitely you are right. God will lift up no matter what happens. Sometimes i don't understand life, but we are mold but such bad experiences to feel what is still good in our life. to appreciate the things we have and to learned and share this experience to others. Goodluck.

I got a wonderful feeling of happiness just by reading your post, hoghoney. I am glad things are beginning to look up for you and your boyfriend. It's true that into each life a little rain must fall, but that only makes the flowers that grow smell that much sweeter. Life can become harsh and seemingly unforgiving, but if we persevere there really is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I wish you all the best.(-:

This is great for you guys. Hubby and I went through a simular situation when he became disabled and we were having so much financial trouble I thought we'd never see daylight. Then he finally got his disability through SSA and we have slowly been putting things right again. It's been rough but it's getting better. Keep up the good work and it'll work out. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
