Dolphins! I love to watch them go up and down in the water, all in line! They are beautiful. I find it interesting that they are friendly to humans.

Dolphins are my favorites. I love them. I used to see them when I lived near the beach and they were just fascinating - playing in the water and the waves.

Sea Lion Taking a Breath - California sea lion
For me it's hard to decide between elephant seals and sea lions. I think I slightly prefer sea lions just for their grace, silly antics, and challenge. Elephant seals have really cute eyes though!

I'm fond of mermaids, too. But my favorite real sea creature is either the manatee or the dolphin. They both seem so gentle.

i think the most bizarre is the jellyfish. it looks like a plastic bag floating in the sea but it has a mighty painful sting :-P
