Which do you think it is best to learn English grammar, the tenses and grammatical forms alone, or in conjunction with a piece of literature? Which way makes you learn better and remember the correct grammar?

In my opinion, learning it with a piece of literature will be more effective than just learning grammar rules and examples from a grammar text. It incorporates more avenues of learning and creates more cells in your brain. I also think that learning to music or from songs will be a good way to learn. Examples of classic literature and music teach in a different way than just rules.

Thank you for your response. I like teaching in a creative way, but the school I teach in likes to teach from the book. I'll try to bring music into the classroom. Good idea
