Who will you save first if your mother and wife fall into a river? And why?

Hello there. I am a girl and I would never ask my partner this question. This is because if i am the guy, I would choose to save my mother. This is because all of us only has 1 Mother and our mothers have made many sacrifices for us. Anyway, my advice for guys is find a girl who can swim. LOL If she were to ask you such a silly question, you can answer 'Since you can swim, I'll save my mother' =D

This might be the most difficult question in the world. I don't know who can give a satisfactory answer. I also wanna know who proposed this embarrassing question for the first time. Let's think about who will ask you this question? Mother or Wife(or Husband). In my opinion, this question should not be asked by anyone, whatever mother or wife, because anyone who ask you this question might be a cold person. I mean, as we all know, whatever mother or wife, even other members of our familly, are all the most important persons to us. We don't wanna lose anyone, and even we wanna sacrifice ourselves if that can save their lives. Our familly members would never ask us this hard question if they really love us. Okay, since this is really a question, let's imagine what would happen if someone ask you that. For me, if my mother ask me, I am sure to tell her I will save her. If my wife ask me that question, I will begin to doubt whether she really loves me, and the worst consequence is the decrease of my love to her, even divorce.
