after winning the twenty/20 world cup it is proved that the indian cricket team do not need the senior players i think we should start giving chances to the young players and apply new stragices to win in future

Sachin,Sourav and dravid are the three pillars of the indian cricket team and they became pillrs by serving their national team for nearly decades.Their records speak for themselves we can't drop them from the side because thy are going through a lean patch.come on we are talking about the trio of indian cricket.the experience they carry is invaluable, without them the indian team willbe incomplete india will never be able to find players to fill the the trio's space.we owe them the respect they deserve and let them decide when they want t oquit till then we should'nt push them into leaving.it is really sad from a cricketer's perspective to be dropped from the side after serving the national sidefor nearly 15years andthen be forced to quit.It will really be a sad day for indian cricket when te trio decide to quit.

Yes, not only seniors whoever that is not performing well should be dropped from the team. Even Sehwag who has not been performing from time and again has been given lots of chances but still failing and the board is still keeping him in the team, which is really funny and suspicious, he should be kicked out of all the teams and should be asked to play for state team only.

In my opinion, dropping the senior players will not be the right thing to do. This is because, we need players like sachin tendulkar to guide the team for batting performances. As we dont have a batting coach also, it is important that the senior players remain to teach the young players, all the strategy that is needed to win games. yes, the young players themselves have some strategies, but experience still counts.
